if you aren't yet familiar with the Chinese car company Geely... it's time to get acquainted. They're going to be coming up in conversations a lot more.

Geely has been successful enough to buy struggling car companies Volvo, and Lotus, and also purchased the London Taxi Company.

Yeah, two of those were British, but, as time has proven, greed, bad management, and the union system have killed off all British car companies except Morgan. (Nothing unusual there, the same trio killed off most American car companies)

The London Taxi Company was founded in 1899, but became owned by the Manganese Bronze Holding, which hadn't made a profit in the past 10 years, and was snapped up in bankruptcy by Geely
