31 rolls of film have been waiting to be developed since WW2, they were just found, and finally processed

An American soldier never had the chance to get his photos developed, and 31 rolls were just hanging around with moments captured forever, but completely forgotten and never seen again until now. That is very conceptually intriguing.

Undeveloped World War II Film Discovered from The Rescued Film Project on Vimeo.

Every image in The Rescued Film Project was special for someone, and they tried to save that moment in time with a photo.

Each frame captured is a moment that was intended to be remembered. The picture was taken, the roll was finished, wound up, and for reasons we can only speculate, was never developed.

These images deserve to be seen, so that their existence in history is marked and experienced.

Film is an organic material that degrades over time. We are committed to rescuing as many images as possible, before they're all gone.   http://www.rescuedfilm.com/#!rescued-about/cx9v
