in the bizarre news of today, 200 people protested the high cost of shipping cars INTO mexico, and shut down a border crossing from San Diego to TiJuana

Cargo trucks were unable to move through the state Route-905 checkpoint leading into Mexico around 11 a.m.

Car dealership owners and residents gathered at the checkpoint to protest high fees and taxes associated with importing cars into Mexico.

San Diego police closed streets near the area for approximately 30 minutes, until protesters dispersed.
